Quality of grinded grain is one of the critical parameters of grinders, which allows decreasing thestarch losses, and, as the result, ethanol losses. The installed HAMMER MIL grinders (90kW, 1500r/min)are designed to crush stone and provide the grinding coarseness of NO MORE than 92% with mesh sizeof about 1.0mm. Restoring of grinding plates is necessary to be provided in order to upgrade thequality of crushing up to the required 96 … 98% of passage through the similar sieve. The edges ofgrinding plate MUST be sharp, not rounded. The sharp edges can be made by overlaying/welding-on aplate with following edges cutting.
