Control and regulation of the temperature regime in the production of urea-ammonia fertilizers is of particular importance. When mixing water and bulk fertilizers, an endothermic reaction occurs with a large heat absorption. The main task is to maintain the temperature in a strictly defined narrow range.
The heat exchanger for carbomide-ammonia mixtures is designed for heating solutions and suspensions of nitrogen fertilizers. As a heat source, the heat from a diesel-fueled burner is used.
The heat exchanger receives a slurry( solution) of fertilizer and the heat from the burner is heated to the temperature set by the technological mode.
The parameters of the heat exchanger:
- burner type: diesel;
- burner control: remote;
- case material: stainless steel;
- material of heat exchanger tubes: stainless steel;
- capacity, kW / h: 300;
- input and output of the heated medium is carried out in the heat exchanger through:;
- heated medium: solutions and suspensions of nitrogen fertilizers;
- pH of the heated medium (hydrogen index): from 5.5 to 9;
- corrosion activity of the heated medium: high to non-ferrous metals and carbon steels, causing their corrosion.
- minimum temperature of the heated medium at the inlet, ° C: minus 24 ° C;
- maximum temperature of the heated medium at the outlet, ° C: from minus ten to minus 20 ° C.
