TEGALASE AP75L is a protease for the production of grain alcohol. This is a purified acid protease obtained with the help of a strain of A. niger for use in the production of alcohol from grain to obtain various effects. TEGALASE AP75L meets the specifications of a food-grade enzyme, as well as the recommendations of the FAO/WHO, as well as the FCC, and is classified as a GRAS enzyme preparation.
Action: TEGALASE AP75L hydrolyzes proteins to peptides and is set during saccharification or before dilution at 50°C with a pause of 30-60 minutes.
Application: Depending on the type of grain used for the production of alcohol and the quality of the grain, the enzymatic hydrolysis of starch can be partially blocked by the presence of a protein-starch matrix. This can lead to a decrease in alcohol yield. The use of TEGALASE AP75L improves the separation of protein compounds, especially during low-temperature digestion, and leads to an increase in raw material extractivity and alcohol yield.
Advantages: TEGALASE AP75L forms low-molecular peptides that do not form sediments and precipitates in hydrofermentative treatment devices, fermentation devices and distillation equipment.
Use of TEGALASE AP75L reduces cleaning costs. Peptides formed under the action of TEGALASE AP75L are recognized
with nutrients for yeast, which leads to acceleration and improvement of fermentation.
Product type: TEGALASE AP75L light brown liquid.
Storage and stability: TEGALASE AP75L retains full activity for 6 months when stored in cool conditions below +12°C. TEGALASE AP75L can also be stored at room temperature for a short time.
Precautions: All enzymes have a warning: harmful enzyme protein. Enzymes can cause sensitization by inhalation. It irritates the eyes. Do not inhale the dust. Do not inhale the aerosol. In case of contact with eyes, immediately wash them with water and consult a doctor.
