TEGAMYL AG 130L is an enzyme for saccharification in the production of alcohol. A liquid concentrated amyloglucosidase used in the production of alcohol from grains and other starchy materials. TEGAMYL AG 130L meets the food grade enzyme specification as well as the FAO/WHO recommendations as well as the FCC and is classified as a GRAS class enzyme preparation.
Action - cereal and potato crumbs thinned with α-amylase, such as TEGAMYL BA HL or TEGAMYL α-amylase, such as TEGAMYL BA HL or TEGAMYL BAH 2L, contain dextrins that are hydrolyzed by the action of TEGA MYL AG 130L on fermentable sugars.
Application: TEGAMYL AG 130L is added to the thinned crumb at a temperature of about 55-60°C. At this temperature, saccharification takes place at a high rate. Saccharification is not required, as saccharification continues during fermentation, albeit at a slower rate.
Product form: amber liquid with a specific gravity of 1.10–1.20 g/ml.
Packaging 25kg cans, 1100kg containers.
Security measures: all enzymes have a warning, the harmful enzyme is protein. Enzymes can cause sensitization by inhalation. Irritates eyes. Do not inhale dust. Do not inhale aerosol. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice.
