Fluoropolymer reinforced CFRETFE combines high mechanical properties with chemical resistance close to Teflon® fluoropolymers, it is easy to process, has a specific gravity of 1.7 and is resistant to high radiation energy. Many ETFE grades can withstand a continuous service temperature of 150ºC. ETFE is also available in the form of a mixture with 25% glass fiber, antistatic additives and for adhesion to other polymers (co-extrusion). Magnetic coupling pumps, unlike other chemical pumps, have a significant feature - the design of these pumps does not use a mechanical seal, gland or other sealing element of a similar type. The working body is driven by a magnetic field, the working chamber and the drive shaft are separated by a fixed casing made of chemically resistant material. This eliminates the possibility of fluid leakage from the working chamber. The magnetic coupling is not afraid of solid particles in the liquid, there is no possibility of leakage, which is important when pumping chemically active and explosive liquids. Unlike pumps with a mechanical seal, pumps equipped with a magnetic coupling do not require maintenance (which saves money and time).
