A decanter centrifuge is a device that operates on the principle of centrifugal force and is designed to separate solid and liquid phases. A decanter centrifuge is used for separation of mechanical impurities, dehydration, concentration (thickening), clarification, etc. The use of centrifuges is quite extensive: general industrial, food, processing, petrochemical, metallurgy, industrial wastewater, etc.
According to the amount of separated substances at the outlet, decanter centrifuges are three-phase and two-phase. In three-phase, the following components are obtained at the output: liquid-liquid-solid; in two-phase: solid - liquid.
