Operated scheme for mixing mass in fermenters featuring mass intake by circulating pump from the bottom of a unit and its feeding again to the BOTTOM part is extremely non-effective
It is suggested to “re-connect” the pressure pipe of circulating pumps with upper part of the unit and provide TANGENTIAL feed of circulated mass into it. Implementation of suggested measure will make it possible to intensify mass mixing processes, as the GRAVITATION mixing will be added; cooler mass, after being treated in the wash cooler, will be fed to the upper part, and will get down to the bottom of the unit by means of higher density. Such a “vertical” mixing will improve emission and disposal of fermentation gases from the units.
The change of circulation scheme is supposed to be performed for all the ten fermenters. Basic scheme of measure implementation is shown in Figure 7.1.2, measure implementation is required to be carried out according to the developed design documentation
